Why are we so excited about film?

The saving power of the Gospel, the wide reach of film

Simply put, film is still one of the most effective ways to communicate. Not only is film not obsolete, but it's the #1 way to reach distant, hostile, and developing countries... places where internet access is rare or nonexistent. Places where hostile governments prevent internet access to Christian materials. Places where delicate computer equipment breaks down under brutal environmental conditions. Places too poor to afford the latest technology.

Film can reach all of these places. One film projector in the hands of a single missionary can bring the Gospel to hundreds or thousands of people who've lived their entire lives without ever hearing about Jesus Christ.

That's why we'e excited about film: because it's a proven, reliable way to share the Gospel with the world. Film doesn't take the place of personal interaction or face-to-face communication, but it's a powerful medium to use in conjunction with traditional evangelism. Like the internet, film is a tool in our arsenal--and we're all about using the right tool for the job.

Whenever film will work best to get the Word out, we use it.
